Has the Sir Lynden Pindling International Airport become the Hialeah Flea Market?

Cheap knock off made in Chinese Taipei T- shirts hanging from rafters and falling into the corridors.

Food kiosks with five gallon buckets of water on the floor to make a snack.

Ghetto “sale” signs and other tacky signage.

Liquor, beer, wine, rum in coolers in shops which do not carry such merchandize in their Florida Airport shops.

Hawkers soliciting sales.

All these over-the-hill activities are going on in the Sir Lynden Pindling International Airport.

Badly in need of a detailed and regular maintenance supervision and repair; the Band-Aid can no longer hide the gaping, oozing, ugly wound.

Will we fix it or turn the facts into another ghastly political football?

The Airport has been under one management team for over a decade.

Will we make the obvious changes or wait until it’s too late repair our image?
